Company profile

Lesego Platinum is an independent emerging platinum company engaged in the exploration and evaluation of the Phosiri Project – a 27.8 Moz platinum group metals inferred (3 PGM + Au) resource on the eastern limb of the world’s largest platinum repository, South Africa’s Bushveld Complex. The resource is based on the well-proven and consistent Merensky and UG2 platinum reefs.

Lesego Platinum is 63%-owned by Umbono Platinum Mining and 37% by MinEx Projects – an ownership structure that brings with it the essential suite of financial, technical and geological skills needed to fully explore and evaluate our project’s resource and, to move forward in a direction that will allow for a decision as to the future potential of this significant resource. Our aim is to convert our resources to reserves through the completion of a feasibility study as we progress towards the development of a viable mine.
